Sorry I was posting in the preview program side, but to answer your questions. I don't have another headset that uses a usb stick that transmits. I have other wireless headsets that connect to sound out and yes they work fine. The headset is a Turtle Beach 420x. I have no problem with party chat so the usb transmitter is working fine. Here is my original post in the preview side
I was playing Fortnite with some friends Sunday morning 2/5/18 and we experienced our game sound going in and out. The chat works fine. Later that day I got back on to play and I have no sound in any game or app like YouTube. Chat still works fine. I am using the Turtle Beach 420x wireless headset that uses a USB transmitter. This headset has worked great since purchased in 2016. I seen that I had gotten an update that morning (rs3_release_xbox_dev_1802.180131-1450). I went ahead and trouble shot my headset to see if I could get it to work again, but since it wasn't just me having the problem that morning I figured it had to be the update. They are not on the preview program and are not having anymore issues with sound. Using my old headset that uses the chat puck on the controller still works. I don't have any other USB plug in headsets to try and see if it is a USB issue. Is there anyway to rollback the update to see if this is the problem?
